About the role: As a Field Installation and Service Technician, you are responsible for the installation and support of complex audio/visual systems in a variety of customer environments. We are seeking a candidate with skills and abilities to install, diagnose, and service audio visual equipment. The ability to work independently or as part of a team to install and troubleshoot AV systems is required. College degree(s) from an accredited university and/or previous relevant work experience are preferred but not required.

This is a full-time salary position with a typical expected weekly workload between 40-45 hours per week. Most work is performed Monday through Friday from 8-5 with the potential for some evening and weekend work. Occasional overnight travel is possible. This full-time role is eligible for PTO, floating holidays, and retirement.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive, onsite audio-visual equipment installation for our clients  

• Diagnose structural/room interior for efficient and optimum installations, install cabling with or without conduit, and crimp and terminate audio and video cables 

• Assist with structural installations utilizing company-provided power tools  

• Maintain daily communication with site managers on status of projects and task lists  

• Use company-provided vehicles to travel to off-site customer locations as part of system installation as required  

• Participate in industry training sessions and relevant certifications as required  

• Maintain professional work appearance and execute outstanding customer interactions  

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform the physical duties of installation within reason 

• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer and a have valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
